This necklace is handmade using authentic Greek tan leather cord with a mixture of genuine cowrie shells in various sizes and gold plated zamak cowrie shell charms attached along the knots of the cord with small plated rings. This Aphrodite seashell charms leather cord necklace has a knotted closure complete with our logo tag. This necklace can also be worn as a bracelet.
The mystical cowrie shell is an amulet that many ancient cultures believed would add vitality to life, and prolong their lives to the point of immortality.
