Our Destination: Sicilia mother of pearl shell gemstone bead necklace showcases the stunning pine cones of the magical island. This handmade gemstone necklace features genuine carved mother of pearl shell letters spelling out Sicilia along the centre of the necklace, separated by a mix of 6mm round mother of pearl beads and your choice of another semi-precious gemstone bead, alternately hand strung along a jewellery wire cord necklace. Also adorned on this stunning necklace is a colourful porcelain Sicilian pine cone charm, available in a variety of colours. This gemstone bead necklace secures with a plated brass lobster clasp complete with our signature logo tag.
The Sicilian pine cone is a Sicilian symbol of fertility, life, immortality, and divinity. The seeds of the pine cone represent the symbol of fertility and regenerative force. In ancient Sicilian tradition the Sicilian pine cone was used to adorn the bedroom of newlyweds to wish the formation of a large family.
